In Connecticut, Endurance Home Care holds Connecticut License HCA.0002450 and provides non-medical care at home. Skilled nursing, home health aides and physical therapy are provided by our separate company, Endurance Home Health, in Connecticut only.

Care at home
In-home senior care for the days, the nights, or both
In Fairfield and New Haven counties, care can run by the hour, overnight, live-in or around the clock. Everywhere else in Connecticut, our care is live-in.

A caregiver lives in the home and helps through the day, with agreed rest time and a night's sleep.
- 24-hour home care
Caregivers work awake shifts, so help is there at any hour of the day or night.
- Overnight care
An awake caregiver for the night hours, so everyone in the house can rest.
- Hourly home care
Help for the hours that are hardest, from a few mornings a week to full days.
Any of these can be companion care, for company, meals, the house, errands and rides, or personal care, which adds hands-on help with bathing, dressing and moving around safely. We specialize in Alzheimer’s and dementia care at home, with memory support at home, and we also offer help after a hospital stay.

Is there an office I can visit in Connecticut?
Yes. Our office is at 60 Long Ridge Rd, Suite #214, Stamford, CT 06902. You can start with a phone call or a request, and a registered nurse then visits at home to write the care plan with you.
What is the difference between live-in care and 24-hour care?
With live-in care, a caregiver lives in the home and has agreed time for rest, including a night's sleep. With 24-hour care, caregivers work in shifts and stay awake, so support carries on through the day and the night. Tell us what a typical day and night look like, and we'll help you choose.
How do families pay for home care?
Endurance is private pay and does not bill insurance directly. Families with a long-term care insurance policy can use it, and we'll help with the paperwork. Long term care insurance policies sometimes reimburse non-medical home care, and we will read yours with you at the consultation. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home.
What if nursing is needed too?
In Connecticut, our separate company, Endurance Home Health, provides skilled nursing, home health aides and physical therapy, and can work alongside your caregiver.
