What happens at the nurse's visit?
A registered nurse comes to the house, talks with your parent and the family about how the days and nights go, and writes the care plan with you. The plan is reviewed as needs change.
How do families pay for home care?
Endurance is private pay, and the cost depends on the schedule and the kind of help. We'll talk it through with you once we know what's needed. If there's a long-term care insurance policy, we'll help with the paperwork. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home.
How soon can care begin?
Tell us where care is needed and when you'd like it to start. We'll arrange the nurse visit and explain the next steps, including when you'll meet the caregiver.
