Paying for it, before anything else

You leave that conversation knowing what yours appears to cover, what it does not, and where the gap sits, before a single caregiver is ever scheduled.

Does Endurance Home Care work with long term care insurance?
Yes. Long term care insurance is a dedicated service surface at Endurance Home Care, and families review their policies directly with the founders. What daily-living means, in and out
Home care in Connecticut and New Jersey; companion care only in New York. In Connecticut and New Jersey, the work can include memory support at home, personal care, homemaking, companion care, transportation, medication reminders, and safety supervision. A caregiver cooks, drives, does the laundry, sits with somebody, prompts a pill at the hour it is due, and stays within earshot when being alone is the risk. New York service is companion care only and excludes hands-on personal care and medication management. What a caregiver never does is the shorter list below; those things belong to the clinical providers already involved.

Is Endurance Home Care a medical home care agency?
Endurance Home Care provides home care in Connecticut and New Jersey and companion care only in New York. Skilled nursing, home health aides and physical therapy in Connecticut are provided by the separate Endurance Home Health company. Home Care caregivers support daily life and never treat, diagnose, or administer medication.

Dementia at home, and which number to call
In Connecticut and New Jersey, memory support at home can hold familiar routines steady, provide company through difficult hours, help with meals and dressing, and keep somebody within earshot. It is support and supervision, never treatment or a substitute for a clinician. In New York, Endurance provides companion care only: company, conversation, errands and ordinary verbal reminders, without hands-on personal care or a memory-care service claim.
Households can also add an optional audio check in service, which alerts the Endurance team so they can respond. It does not diagnose, treat, or assess anyone.
Two numbers, and they are never the same number. Families reach the Client Support Line. Caregivers and applicants reach Employee Services. Calling the other one only adds a transfer to your day.
