Family experiences

Endurance Home Care was there when we needed help with my father. The staff made sure all of our specific requests for my father's care were taken care of. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, and genuinely caring. We truly appreciate the kindness and attention they showed throughout the experience.

We’ve had an overall very positive experience with Endurance Home Care. From the very beginning, their timing was fast and incredibly professional. They responded quickly to our inquiry and made the entire onboarding process smooth and stress-free.

The nurse who came to assess my mom was especially wonderful. She was kind, compassionate, and took the time to truly understand my mom’s needs. Her evaluation felt thorough and thoughtful, and she made both my mom and our family feel comfortable and heard.

The options provided for home health aides were very appropriate for my mom’s situation. The team did a great job matching us with caregivers who fit our needs, and their flexibility with scheduling and adjustments has been commendable. It’s clear they genuinely care about the families they serve.

Overall, our experience has been very good, and we’re grateful for the professionalism, responsiveness, and compassionate care they’ve shown. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable home health support.

Endurance Home Care allowed us to interview multiple people before they connected with Dorothy. Dorothy provided personal care for my mom for 3 years before she passed from complications with her Alzheimers. Dorothy was extremely skilled and understand how to provide care to people with dementia.

Endurance helped after my dad's hip replacement - Carly was an amazing caregiver that really made my dad feel comfortable. He really did not want anyone helping him, but her amazing personality won him over. The Endurance team gave us regular updates and just were all around very professional.

My mom in Danbury just needed a companion and Endurance really came to our rescue. My mom really looked forward to the caregivers visits and I felt secure leaving her in their hands.

What repeats across the platforms

Read the three platforms together and the same subjects keep surfacing, in different words, from families writing independently of one another.

  1. The caregiver match

Flexibility around scheduling, patience, and how a person carries themselves in someone else’s kitchen. It is the subject families return to first, and it is the subject they raise when an agency gets it wrong. It is also the part of the work that is decided before the first shift, which is why it is worth reading how caregivers are screened and matched.

  2. Reaching the owner

The first call comes up again and again, and what families name is who answered it. That is a structural fact about a small agency rather than a service feature, and it is easier to understand after meeting the family behind Endurance.

  3. Work taken off the family

Appointments coordinated, rides accompanied, the calendar held by somebody else for once. Families describe the relief in logistics rather than in adjectives, which is the most useful thing a review can tell the next household reading it.

Where to read or leave one

The full corpus lives on Google, on Caring.com, and on A Place for Mom, under the Stamford profile in each case. Search the agency name on any of the three and you will find the same reviews quoted above, in their original context, with whatever the family chose to leave alongside them.

If Endurance has worked in your house, write it wherever you already have an account. We would rather have three honest sentences on a platform we do not control than a page of praise on one we do. If you are still deciding, start with home care services in Stamford.
