He has run and built four companies, across a hedge fund, retailers, beverage companies and manufactured products, after twenty years in investment banking, private equity and public markets.
He studied at Columbia Business School and NYU Stern, and retired from finance at thirty-seven to build this instead.
He and his brother Tom started the company after the two of them cared for their grandmother, who had dementia.

The other half of the pair who lived the problem before they built the answer to it.
He co-built Stamina Capital, the brothers' hedge fund, and the two of them worked together across public markets and investment banking. He went to NYU.

Chris's old roommate from NYU. They met studying abroad in Madrid and have been close friends for decades.
He worked in investment banking and private equity, then ran a similar business in the mid-Atlantic with 5,000 caregivers across 50 offices, and was head of business development at Elara Caring, a skilled agency in the Northeast.
He lives with his family in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, which is the state the company's second office now serves.

Who comes to the house first
Before a caregiver is ever scheduled, a nurse care manager visits the home. That happens for every new client, and it is a nurse who does it rather than a salesperson with a folder. The visit is about the ordinary shape of a day: when it starts, which stairs have become hard, what the kitchen looks like at four in the afternoon, and what kind of person would actually fit inside that house.

When I met with Tom and Chris, we discussed our LTC policy and my stress level was very much reduced.
