One caregiver moves into the home, sleeps there, and keeps the household running on the routine it already has. Meals, laundry, reminders, errands, and company, with scheduled breaks written into the plan. It suits a house where the nights are usually quiet and what matters most is that nobody is ever alone in it.
Shift based
24H / Rotating shifts
Caregivers rotate so somebody is awake and on duty at every hour, including the ones nobody plans for. It suits a household where sleep is broken, where someone gets up and wanders, or where getting safely from bed to bathroom takes two people rather than one.
Which model fits is settled at the in home assessment, and it comes down to what the nights actually require and what the budget allows. If only a few hours of the day are hard, that is a different arrangement: fewer hours, care by the visit.
