You meet the caregiver
We choose a caregiver for the routines and preferences that matter and introduce them before the first visit. A backup plan is written into the care plan.
Updates as you go
Your Care Manager keeps you posted and changes the plan with you when needs change.

Questions families ask
Can you help when my mother comes home from the hospital?
Yes. Endurance Homebound is our plan for the first 72 hours after a hospital stay. Tell us when she's due home and what the hospital has said, and we'll plan help around it: settling in, meals, rest and getting to follow-up appointments.
Can you arrange live-in or 24-hour care in New Haven County?
Yes. A live-in caregiver lives in the home and has a proper night's rest; 24-hour care means caregivers working awake shifts. Tell us what the days and nights look like and we'll help you choose. Live-in care is available across Connecticut, and 24-hour care is available in Fairfield and New Haven counties, and any check-in technology a family adds alerts the Endurance team so a person can respond.
What if my father also needs nursing?
In Connecticut, our separate company, Endurance Home Health, provides skilled nursing, home health aides and physical therapy. It can work alongside his caregiver, so the help at home fits together.
How do families pay for home care?
Endurance is private pay. The cost depends on the hours and the kind of help, so we'll go through it with you once we know what's needed. If there's a long-term care insurance policy, we'll help with the paperwork. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home.
