What you learn before the first shift

Six areas are covered before anybody is placed in a home. Training does not stop when orientation ends: Endurance provides ongoing monthly training to all caregivers through an online training program, so the person doing the work keeps learning while the work changes underneath them. That cadence is the point of it. A household two years in is not the household you met on day one, and the caregiver who is still learning is the one who notices.

    How a shift is actually run, from the walk to the door to the note at the end.

What training do Endurance Home Care caregivers get?

Every caregiver completes a comprehensive orientation training program covering privacy and professionalism, service delivery, safety protocols, medication reminders, effective communication, and specific disease states including Alzheimer's and dementia. After orientation, Endurance provides ongoing monthly training to all caregivers through an online training program.
