Endurance is private pay, and the cost depends on the schedule and the help needed, so we'll talk it through with you. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home. We review long term care insurance with families before any schedule is set, and go through the policy with you before hours are set.
Can you help when my mother comes home from the hospital?
Yes. Endurance Homebound is our plan for the first 72 hours after a hospital stay. Tell us when she's due home and we'll plan help around it: settling in, meals, rest and getting to follow-up appointments, then adjust as she recovers.
What does personal care include?
Personal care is hands-on help with bathing, the bathroom, getting dressed and moving around safely, along with the everyday help of companion care: meals, the house, errands and company. In Connecticut, both are available on any schedule.
