Does Endurance Home Care provide home care in Marlboro?

Yes. We provide home care throughout Marlboro from our Short Hills office. Your family can choose hourly visits, awake overnight care, live-in care or care around the clock, as companion care or personal care with hands-on help. A registered nurse comes to the house first to write the care plan with you, and you meet the caregiver before the first visit.

The senior center, and getting there

Marlboro's Senior Center is for adults 60 and older, with daily exercise, weekly lectures, discussion groups, art classes, knitting, mahjong and canasta, some in person and some online. You sign up through a Community Pass account on the township website, and the monthly calendar lists the classes, which meet at the Recreation Center on Recreation Way. The October calendar also lists the Morganville Firehouse on Tennent Road.

A caregiver can set up the account with your mother, get her to a class and home again, and be with her in the hours before and after. The township's goal for the center is to help people stay active and independent, and help at home can be part of that.

Rides and emergency sign-ups

The township's senior page links to EZ Ride's Community Cars brochure: volunteer drivers for people over 60, a $15 annual membership, reservations at least 48 hours ahead, and rides Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Riders meet the driver at the car, and the brochure says to check whether the service is available in your town. Marlboro also asks residents to register for Smart911 alerts, and the county's voluntary Special Needs Registry gives first responders contacts and details in an emergency.

A caregiver can walk your mother out to the car, drive her when the booking window or the 4pm finish doesn't fit, and sit down with her to complete the sign-ups once, so they're done.

Getting started

How care is arranged in Marlboro

It starts with a conversation, and nothing begins until you say so.

  1. A conversation

Call or send a request. Tell us who needs help, where they live and what's been getting harder. You don't need the right words.

  2. A nurse visits at home

A registered nurse comes to the house in Marlboro, gets to know everyone and writes the care plan with you.

  3. You meet the caregiver

We choose a caregiver for the routines and preferences that matter and introduce them before the first visit. If it isn't working, we find someone else.

  4. Updates as you go

Your Care Manager keeps you posted and changes the plan with you when needs change.

Questions Marlboro families ask

Who can join Marlboro's Senior Center, and how do I sign up?

It serves adults 60 and older. Registration is required and done online through a Community Pass account on the township website, and township staff can answer questions and help with registration during business hours.

Where do the senior programs meet?

The Senior Office is in the Recreation Community Center at 1996 Recreation Way. The township's October 2026 calendar also lists the Morganville Firehouse at 78 Tennent Road, so check the monthly calendar for each class. A caregiver can drive your mother to either place.

How can my father get to a doctor's appointment if he doesn't drive?

The township links EZ Ride's Community Cars for people over 60, with a $15 annual membership and 48 hours' notice, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. The county's Shared Ride also asks for a reservation four days ahead. When the timing doesn't fit, a caregiver can drive him and stay through the visit.

How do families pay for home care?

Care with Endurance is private pay. If your father has a long-term care insurance policy, we can help with the policy paperwork. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home.
