Can a caregiver take my mother to a program or the library?
Yes. Walking someone to a program, waiting through it, and bringing them home again is ordinary caregiver work, and so is the ride to the library, the pharmacy, or a standing appointment.
How do families pay for home care?
Endurance is private pay and does not bill insurance directly. Most families pay privately or claim it back from a long-term care insurance policy, and we'll read yours with you at the first visit. What you're paying for is continuity: the same caregiver, chosen for your parent, coming back every time. Medicare does not pay for ongoing daily help at home.
